Location - West Oxfordshire Cotswold Stone Village
This is a popular location with gorgeous views and varied scenery all on a circular walk of around one mile, it has something for everyone whether canine and human! Starting in a cotswold stone village we can walk into an enclosed banked field and onto interesting wooded area with woodland paths and steep slopes, emerging from the upper part of the wood there are arable crops and a common grass land (upper pasture) with vista views over the valley with a river running through it. Walking back through there is a shallow river spot with beaches on either bank and an interesting bridge crossing to lower pastures surrounded by hills as a backdrop.
Appropriate direction and quality of light can be found throughout the seasons and throughout the day. In Summer, late afternoon to evening is best for the warm light and westerly sun direction. Cloudy days can be photographed at almost any time of day but in mid winter it is best between the hours of 10am and 2pm that time extending with the available hours of light in spring and autumn.
As there is a little bit of walking, this location is suitable for a 2hr+ session with fit dogs.
